African Studies Center, Michigan State University

The African Studies Center at Michigan State University is a comprehensive Title VI National Resource Center and Program for Foreign Language and Area Studies. Established in 1960, the Center specializes in research in and about Africa, graduate and undergraduate training and Africa-focused outreach to educators, scholars, schools, media, business, and government agencies. The Center links more than 170 faculty in 13 MSU colleges who have conducted research, taught, and offered development assistance in Africa.
