This program is for students with at least two years of previous study of Mandarin Chinese who want to improve their language skills. *Academic Offerings: Mandarin language instruction, opportunity for an individual tutorial with university faculty. *Eligibility:- two years of college level Mandarin Chinese required, one Chinese area studies course required. *Program Features: field trips integrated into the academic curriculum; one-on-one tutorial on a substantive theme. *Housing: Technical University of Harbin dorms with Chinese roommates, short-term home stays.
