This conference targeted teachers of Portuguese Language Programs in California, educators who have been largely responsible for existing Portuguese language programs throughout the State, and experts in the fields of language acquisition, linguistics and education. All were invited to create a forum in the conference for dialogue, with the aim of establishing a collaborative process engaging educators at all levels.
