Professor Crawford's lectures - one to WAC members, and another to high school students - were extremely well received. They have prompted requests from WAC's program directors for additional events on European topics featuring IES and UCB staff and faculty . As a result, an event on the veil controversies in France has been scheduled for February, 2009. Details will be reported in the April report.
