Yale Silk Road Site Faculty Seminar in Xinjiang Province, China focus on regions of Kucha, Kizil and Northern Xinjiang to examine Buddhist and Islamic Sites and Modern Communities Additional Sites in Qinghai and Gansu Provinces added when group evacuated Xinjiang Province after violence erupted in early July in Urumqi and other cities in the region.
